Bedtime could be your favourite time of the day at Buffalo Rocks Camp as you drift off to sleep with just a thin layer of canvas between you and the wonderful sounds of the African bushveld. The mornings are equally thrilling as you awaken to the sound of dawn chorus of birds, welcoming you to another beautiful sunrise and another perfect day in Africa.
The camp has just 12 privately-situated tented suites, each of which has an outdoor seating area overlooking the wilderness and the rocky outcrop for which the camp is named. Each of the permanent “tents” has been constructed on a solid wooden deck and has its own en-suite shower room with toilet and basin. Your canvas “walls” feature large picture windows which allow in plenty of light and offer views of the bush. Each tent has very comfortable extra-length twin beds covered by beautifully draped mosquito nets and quality linen and duvets, offering a true “out of Africa” ambiance.
